NEC International Logistics (Shanghai) Ltd. announces the opening of a new office in Chongqing, China, on January 20th.
The city of Chongqing is rapidly developing as a core manufacturing base in China, due to the recent shift in production from the coastal area to inland. Sichuan Chengdu, the city located next to Chongqing, is also promoting rapid improvement of its infrastructure to attract corporate enterprises.
To meet this trend, NEC International Logistics (Shanghai) Ltd. decided to establish a new office in Chongqing and expand its logistics network and services, focusing on customers in the electronic appliance and automobile industries in that area.
